概要 Recently, permanent magnet field synchronous motor (PMSM) has been used without inverter. Direct drive with utility power supply, that is operation under constant voltage and constant frequency (CVCF) condition, yields low power factor operation. We reported the relationship between armature voltage and input current with mechanical output using simplified equivalent circuit. Analytical solution for steady state characteristics of PMSM are proposed. Obtained results gives the guideline for selecting PMSM specifications and/or adjusting supply voltage.
