概要 This study, focusing on a case of dyslexic Philippine child staying in Japan, investigated whether or not the training based upon his cognitive profile improved his performance of reading and writing Japanese Kanji -characters. The results suggest that a foreign dyslexic child with difficulties in learning Japanese Kanji -characters can benefit from training in visual skills. Further research will be necessary to investigate subtypes of Japanese dyslexia and effective training suitable for each type of dyslexia.
